How does Moleaer nanobubble technology reduce algae and harmful algal blooms (HABs)?
By oxygenating bottom sediments, nanobubble treatment reduces the internal release of phosphorus and nitrogen, the nutrients that feed algae. Elevated oxidation-reduction potential (ORP) also promotes the chemical breakdown of algal toxins. Over time, reduced nutrient availability shifts phytoplankton communities away from being dominated by cyanobacteria (blue-green algae), toward less harmful green algae and diatoms.
